  • "Hailing from the most rugged corners of the west Sonoma Coast, Lady Marjorie is rooted in the rocky soils of Fort Ross-Seaview yielding a wine of finesse, elegance, and verve. Crushed wet gravel, stone fruits of ripe white peach and crunchy nectarine give way to delicate notes of honeysuckle, apricot and citrus pith. On the palate, crushed wet rock persists with summer ripe stone fruits and white flowers transporting us back to the cool coastline where these vines grow. Subtle notes of this beautiful coastline linger with faint hints of fruit, flower, and minerality leading to a seamlessly long finish."  Winemaker's tasting notes

"Aromas of dried pineapple, cooked apple, white peach, flint and white peach skin. Full-bodied and very structured, with a quartz, rock and stone character and phenolic, chewy mouthfeel. White flowers at the end. New wine honoring Carlo and Dante Mondavi’s grandmother. A tiny vineyard not far from Charles Ranch. Drinkable, but better in two or three years."  James Suckling
